Shiitake mushrooms are a familiar mushroom for many people. We grow our shiitakes both outdoors on logs, and inside on mushroom blocks.

Flavor: rich, mushroomy, earthy, umami

Texture: meaty and chewy

Season: year round with different varieties preferring different seasons

How to Enjoy: Shiitake mushrooms can be prepared a variety of different ways. They can be added to soups, used as a pizza topping, stuffed, sautéed, or added into your favorite pasta dish.
